INSTALLATION PROBLEMS

Getting the installation correct is often a complex task, particularly for network and multi-product, multi-CD installations. Many times the installer is left for the end and is an afterthought by the developer. This can lead to troubles.

Note: Product and Client names have been replaced by asterisks (*****) to protect confidentiality.

Example 1: A PC/Mac hybrid school CD with network installation options.
There was a teacher component and a student component. The Teacher component is referred to as the "Management System" below. This was an early round test.
