REGRESSION TESTING

Example 1: Third round testing of a complex multimedia program.

Summary: We noticed few errors in **** during this round. The Recorder still does not function correctly as originally reported in the last round. We could not get the program to work on one of our System 7.1 machines and the 'Play' button is now broken in the Dictation activity.

Example 2: Second round testing of a complex multimedia reference product.

Summary: The product was stable except for the crash when trying to Filter by Topic, which we had reported and have already tested a successful correction. We did not experience the erratic crashes that occurred during the first round of testing. However, a number of formulas still do not display with the correct symbols on all of our systems and some of the maps' information sheets still do not display for some of the sections. There were also some content related errors. In at least some articles with formulas there were errors in the printouts.

Example 3: The body of the report will contain the details of what items were marked FIXED but are still not working correctly.

Operational Problems Common to Windows and Macintosh:

1. The color of the graphic on the splash screen has been changed and is no longer as readable as the previous design was. Is this correct?
   
   
2. The degree symbol error which was described in item (3) a) of Operational Problems Common to Windows and Macintosh was not fixed for Gerontological Client - Care to the Gerentological Client - Question 12. This was marked as fixed.
   
   
3. The error regarding the missing closing parentheses and chopped off text, which was described in Item (5) of Operational Problems still occurs in the list of slides for the drop down list of the Go\By Title option. See the last two slides on the list of Adult Health - Oncology Prevention, pertaining to Testicular Self Exam (TSE). The chopped off text on the right of the list happens with some of the slide titles listed under Adult Health - Immune System - Disorders. All of these were marked as fixed.
